I've noticed that when big changes happen, they always seem to happen rather suddenly - you never seem to get much forewarning on them.

On the other paw, t'day was lovely and lazy for the most part though I did see to the pest problem on my houseplants, and having been unable to sleep in I got up early and saw to the downstairs and while doing so decided it was a morning for blueberry muffins and made some of those for the fam. I know my sis and her hubby have been pretty overwhelmed lately, new baby and all, and I wholeheartedly believe the cause of every relationship hiccup is a messy house - however metaphorically you want to see it!

I took a lovely little walk before sunset and up until after. It was bitingly cold out and I neglected to bring my hat along so it wasn't a long walk but I walked down to the edge of the woods and thought about t'day's teaching with Ainslee. I'm starting to believe I meditate better in motion (which only makes me want to explore tai chi again..) and I have my best thoughts then to boot~ The bare branches of the trees looked stunning against the fading sunset, my favorite time of day, and the moon was rising t'ward full. Just a wonderful, peaceable moment. You don't get moments like that in the summer when there's no snow to suck up the sound.
